LOW OBSERVABLES (LO)

SI2’s Low Observable (LO) products are designed to meet the Radar Cross Section (RCS) requirements of legacy platforms as well as dedicated LO platforms. Our LO products include conformal Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSS) on doubly curved radomes and Radar Absorbing Structures (RAS) for challenging structural geometries and spaces.

 

Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSS)

SI2’s Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSS) are custom designed for specific frequencies of operation as well as environmental and structural considerations.

Using SI2’s proprietary digital Direct Write processes,

the FSS’s can be fabricated conformally onto doubly curved radomes with a very high degree of resolution, thereby maintaining the desired performance of the FSS.

 

 

 

Radar Absorbing Structures (RAS)

SI2’s RAS products include high precision loaded honeycomb cores designed to meet legacy and future platform RF signature performance parameters.

The core materials are manufactured using SI2’s proprietary digital Direct Write processes which provide the required high precision, tailorability, and material flexibility.
